SEENA
How SEENA supports you safely, how your data is handled, and where its limits are.
SEENA offers warm conversation, reflection prompts, and memory-aware support. It does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, or replace licensed mental health care.
Language like "You seem to be carrying a lot today" or "This may be worth reflecting on" is intentional — never authoritative clinical judgment.
SEENA uses a high-priority safety check for strong, direct language about suicide, self-harm, abuse, or imminent violence. The check is heuristic and can miss or misclassify a message; it is not clinical monitoring or diagnosis.
The user's message remains in user-controlled chat history until the user clears or deletes it, but a crisis-gated message is not promoted into Twin traits or permanent memories. SEENA records only a content-free, account-free aggregate count that a crisis resource referral was shown; it does not attach the message, user, chat, session, or crisis category to that counter.
If anyone may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services now. In the U.S. or Canada, call or text 988. Elsewhere, use Find A Helpline. SEENA cannot monitor a person, dispatch help, or guarantee that it will detect a crisis.
SEENA can help you reflect and remember — but it is not a substitute for therapists, doctors, lawyers, or financial advisors. Important decisions should involve qualified humans who know your full context.
Voice features require consent. SEENA uses preset voices by default. My Voice enrollment explains provider processing before recording and lets you pause, re-record, revoke, or delete the personal voice. Voice responses are supportive, not authoritative.
Do not use voice cloning for impersonation. SEENA is designed for your own reflection, not to mislead others.
Uploaded file summaries use tentative language: "This appears to say…" SEENA does not provide legal, medical, or financial conclusions from documents. Review originals for important decisions.
SEENA gives you real controls — not placeholders. From Settings you can:
Summaries, search results, and Twin traits are suggestions — not facts. Sensitive topics deserve extra caution and human review.
Read our Privacy Policy, Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for the current private-beta disclosures and remaining legal-review boundary.
