Privacy

Your data is yours. SEENA stores your journal, memories, files, chat, Twin traits, and habit check-ins to personalize your experience. You can export or delete your data at any time from Settings.

What we collect. Account email and password (hashed), content you create (journal, memories, files, chat), usage metadata (timestamps, feature interactions), and optional Twin/voice preferences you configure.

How we store data. Account and content metadata live in PostgreSQL (Neon). Uploaded files are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage when configured for production. We do not sell your personal data.

AI processing. When an OpenAI API key is configured, some content may be sent to OpenAI for summarization, search embeddings, and structured extraction. Without a key, SEENA uses local rule-based fallbacks. AI outputs are tentative — not professional advice.

Subprocessors. Hosting (Vercel), database (Neon), file storage (Cloudflare R2), email (Resend when enabled), and AI (OpenAI when enabled). Each processes data only to provide the service.

Retention. Data is kept until you delete it or close your account. Backups may persist briefly per provider policies. Demo account data may be reset periodically.

Your rights. Export JSON from Settings, clear categories of data, or delete your account. Contact us via the Contact page for access or deletion requests.

Age. SEENA is intended for users 13 and older. Do not use SEENA if you are under 13.

Not for emergencies. Do not rely on SEENA for crisis support, medical, legal, or financial decisions. Contact appropriate professionals or emergency services.
